FIRST THINGS FIRST: Fill out the online registration form!

Friday, August 2
5:30 The Bar at Monterey Yacht Club opens

Most participants arrive Monterey today, park in the trailer section by the ramp, pay for slip assignment and parking at harbormaster's office, and launch.

There will be NO PRE-RESERVED PARKING THIS YEAR, so you should arrive early or after 9pm. 25 Parking spaces in the harbor lot are designated for trailers from midnight-9am, but single cars don't always pay attention. You can use the public parking kiosk or pay in Harbormaster's office for any available spots. (Need Parking Options in Monterey? Click here)

Several boats are expected to launch and sail down from Moss Landing, but not as an official part of Cruiser Challenge.   Shuttling cars/trailers if not sailing back Sunday would have to be worked out by the individuals.

5:30 pm: Happy Hour at Monterey Peninsula Yacht Club.

Happy Hour is for MPYC members & guests, so it's not officially a Cruiser Challenge thing.

Saturday, August 3
Before 8:00 am: Rig and Launch

The parking lot fills up early and single cars will unknowingly make the double-length spaces unusable.
If you're just arriving this morning, pay your berth fees and parking at Harbormaster's Office
If you prefer, you can use the kiosk to purchase a parking ticket.
