I have a 19' for sale that I have owed for 10+ yrs thinking I would restore it. I own 5 boats - one larger sailboat that I started to restore and just never had the time to do the work. It does need restoration work. There is a trailer that also would need some maintenance. There is no motor or sails. The boat is in Middletown, NY. SOLD 2007 WW Potter 19 For Sale in Virginia2007 WW Potter 19 For Sale in Virginia Health and other interests that compete for time force the sale of 2007 Potter 19, hull #1630, which I bought new from International Marine (IM). The boat has been used very little, having spent about 40 days in fresh water after only four launchings. Otherwise it has been at my house near Front Royal, Virginia, mostly under a tarp. For a five year old boat I consider it's condition excellent. The 2007 West Wight Potter P19 with the Premium Package* was $17,495 at time of purchase in early 2007. The 2012 MSRP for the P19 Premium Package is $24,995 - see http://www.westwightpotter.com/products/potter-19/premium/. The additional options that I purchased (listed below) when the boat was built totaled $8,360. To establish a fair asking price I looked at other ads here as well as consulting NADA Guides at http://www.nadaguides.com/Boats/2007/International-Marine/WST-WIGHT-POTTER-19-CU+/10241290 with consideration for features/options on my boat that NADA does not list. I "guesstimate" that if included in their evaluation, NADA would report the average retail of my boat as about $18,340. In addition, I'm including at least $1,000 (my cost) of of additional items that I purchased later. These include EZ-JAX lazy jacks (installed and one of the nicest options on this boat), a Tohatsu battery charging system (installed but not wired to boat), Tohatsu service manual, Tohatsu spare water pump kit, prop, second fuel tank, and flywheel puller. Also, a second anchor (Manson galvanized - never used), Northern Tool trailer dolly, extra butane for stove, Master Lock trailer lock kit, wrench for EZ Loader trailer oil bath hub caps, and other miscellaneous items including extra dock lines, fenders, etc. I invested more than $27,000 on this boat including the extras mentioned above. Based on IM's current pricing I estimate an equivalent 2012 Potter 19 would sell for a little more than $32,000. I'm asking $17,950 for this five year old Potter 19, which is about two-thirds of what I have in it or a little over half what a similar new one would cost, depending on variable charges such as shipping, etc. What follows is a listing of feature on this boat, both as part of the Premium Package and added options. WWP P15 For Sale in NY $7900We are the 2nd owners of this beautiful day cruiser. 1st owner garaged it and used it 4 times out on the lake by his house in PA. My dad and I sail it all over the north and south shores of LI but keep it on our trailer in the garage. Has seen sea water, but always washed down/flushed after every use. A few minor scratches to the paint on the side (cosmetic) and virtually maintenance free. Trailer in good working condition. Trailer, boat, motor, and gear is roughly 1200lbs so it easily be trailered by a small car/mini van. Swing keel has no metal cables and its rigging is located above the waterline so there is no worry about electrolysis. Can fit 2 people comfortably. Easy to sail by yourself. SOLD West Wight Potter 192002 West Wight Potter 19 in absolutely great shape. You will not find a lighter used Potter than this. I am the 2nd owner and I have sailed her less than 10 times, the 1st owner being an elderly gentleman that lived on Conroe lake. He did not use the trailer (except for driving the boat to Texas from CA) and seldom the motor as his quay was in deep water. I have used the trailer 3 times -- to pick the boat up in Conroe and to take to Lake Whitney and back. Again we only needed the motor for a few minutes in and out of the slip. She has a 4 birth cabin that has never been slept in and is so lightly used in looks near new. Never been in saltwater. I have just got her back from the marina shop where she had a top to bottom clean. She has all the usual Potter 19 stuff and more: • 5hp Nissan outboard -- I estimate it has less than 5 or 6 hours running time. • Outboard gas tank -- this replaces the portable tank that normally sits in the cockpit, which apart from the safety aspect takes up valuable room. • All lines run to the cockpit for singlehanded sailing. • It has an ingenious hand cranking mast raising/lower system that adds safety to solo sailing. • Jib roller furler. • Hunter Green Sunbrella cockpit floatation cushions and backrests -- that also act as splashguards. • Hunter green Sunbrella mainsail, jib and tiller covers. • Solar panel and voltage regulator to maintain battery charge. • Solar power vent to minimize dampness issue in the cabin. • Hawkeye depth finder. • Porta-potty, which has never been used. • Butane stove. • CD/radio. • Companionway bug screen. • Cooler, sink and lots of storage. I have more photos and can email them if you request. This is a boat you do not have to do anything with but slip her into the water, and I am confident you will not be disappointed. Potter owners have a club and you will find this is a very sort after sailboat. It is a good sailboat for beginners and many experienced sailors love these very well designed and built crafts. JUNK RIGGED P-14FOR SALE JUNK RIGGED P-14. I am a professional blue water boat designer and builder who has been the consultant to various Maritime Museums and has specialized in "traditional" rigs and vessels. I have modified a P-14 to Junk Rig suitable for extended voyaging for personal use. I have enjoyed this boat immensely yet am selling her because I am setting off permanently aboard a Junk Rigged ketch. This is a very aesthetic modification, looks vintage/antique with loads of personality and gets compliments everywhere. This rig has been professionally designed and points to weather as well as a Catalina 25 when in winds of 10 knots and it points better than the Catalina and most cruising sloops in stronger when they have reefed their jibs. I confidently sail to weather in 35 knot winds with the satisfaction of watching most other boats running for cover due to the sea worthiness and instant reefing ability of Junk Rig. It is so well balanced that you can literally tie off the tiller on any point of sail from close hauled to beam reach and maintain course for miles in any wind that you care to sail in. All lines are antique type "Roblon" and led aft with bags to contain lines with out cock pit clutter. Nice cushions for interior. Installed front hatch, bow anchor roller, winch for anchor retrieval (helps when in kelp beds high winds or deep anchorages), rowing station, row locks and oars. Installed multiple dock cleats. Has awnings that cover fore hatch and main hatch/cockpit so you can sleep with the hatches open and stay rain free. Modified washboard to top entry for safer blue water use, still easy in and out. Added additional ballast and rebalanced the boat. This is part of why she points so well because the chine stays within the original design of about only 10 degrees of heel, even in heavy going. She is a VERY dry boat now. Has eight fenders (four per side) that have been arranged to instantly deploy or retrieve which is fantastic for single handing and coming along side. Comes with 3hp outboard motor that is in great shape and excellent tilt trailer with new tires and two excellent spares as well. Includes two Bruce anchors. I have owned several Potters and this one is among them all far better for micro voyaging and pride of ownership. Located in Ashland Oregon. Price $2,995 cash firm. Potter 19 - ChubbyChubby is a highly modified West Wight Potter 19, one of the most accomplished out there. The retractable daggerboard has been replaced with a 350 pound lead bulb mounted on a custom carbon keel. The hull and centerboard trunk have been reinforced. The standing rigging has been replaced by a Jim Antrim design using Ballenger spars. The sail inventory consists of a custom battened main from Pineapple sails with 3 reefing points and an installed jiffy reefing system, a 155% Genoa in excellent condition, a 110% in great condition, a 90% in good condition, a set of storm sails, and a 300 sq. ft. asymetrical spinnaker with a retractable carbon fiber sprit. Three years ago the boat got a major overhaul. All running rigging was replaced. A traveller was added. The batteries were replaced. A new 4 stroke, 5 hp Nissan outboard was installed. Custom exterior trim, a new cabin door and hooks to store coiled lines were added. And the boat received new graphic lettering and a boat cover for the mainsail and cockpit. Chubby has been well cared for through three owners. Her first took her all over the bay, through the Alaskan panhandle, down the coast from Seattle, and even to Hawaii and the second cruised the delta. Chubby was my our first boat. She is easy to learn on and surprisingly capable. We sailed Chubby year round, going out several times each month. Chubby can be easily single handed and completely managed from the cockpit. Her wide beam makes her very spacious. The cockpit can comfortably sit four adults and below are two quarter berths, a wide vee berth, a porta-potti, and space for a small stovetop. The boat also includes a Magma propane grill mounted on the cockpit rail. Chubby is currently kept at Oyster Point Marina in South San Francisco.I have not tried it myself, but I believe Chubby is still trailerable. We are selling Chubby because other commitments make it difficult for us to sail as frequently as we used to.

Anyone want to trade a Potter 15 for a catboat?I have a 1974 Herreshoff Scout Catboat. It is 18 Ft LOA, and has a Cat Ketch rig. It is an open boat with destroyer wheel steering and has two cockpits. Big enough to daysail a small army. But it really needs a slip to be put to proper use. Anyone with a Potter 15 interested in trading for something like this? 1996 Potter 15 for Sale - $3,599FOR SALE 1996 Potter 15 Here is One of the Nicest West Wight Potters you will ever find for Her age. She is a 1996 15 footer with custom Odyssey Sails, a very Nice Honda 2Hp Outboard Motor and a new Minn-Kota sitting on a 1995 Garges Galvanized Trailer with new rear lights. There is a mast support at the Stern that slips into the gudgeon Holes to hold it up. The boom and whisker pole can be put into the boat for storage. I have set this boat up for OFF SHORE USE. She has all the required Lighting, new wind vane, Running light ,Anchor light, Steaming light ,Cabin light, bilge pump, Voltmeter, back lit Lighted compass, Master Cut-Off Switch all mounted on a nicely varnished board. The cushions are very nice heavy woven fabric, with about 4 inches of foam for support. She has a Fire Extinguisher, Flare Pistol, Hand held Flares and Smoke Flares, Signal Flag. Day Shapes for Steaming and for day anchoring, too. There are 2 type 2 Life jackets so you would need to get the right ones for off shore use. I have no Throwable cushions. They went with the other boat. She has a traveler, Boom vang,Topping lift, and all halliards at the Mast. There is also a new Battery emergency navigation lights and some spare parts as well. West Wight Potter P15West Wight Potter P-15 for sale This is a great sloop rigged pocket cruiser. It has a swing keel that draws very little water when it is raised, which makes it easy to launch as well as beach. I have regularly sailed with three people aboard in comfort. The cabin sleeps two (think tent camping in terms of space). I tow and launch the boat with a VW Jetta, so you do not need a big vehicle for this sailboat. This is a very safe and stable boat that will get you anywhere you want to go in the San Juan Islands and beyond. I kept it in my driveway on the trailer, saving me the cost of a monthly slip fee. It takes me less than a half an hour to step up the mast and rig the boat before I am on my way. Hull # 640 2 sets of sails. The newest mainsail is 2 years old and is fully battened with 2 reef points. The newer headsail (jib) is 1 year old. The mast was recently replaced. A new companionway door was installed this year and the tiller and rudder were refinished this season. The trailer is in great working condition and has functional lights. Additional gear includes cabin cushions, bumper, dock lines, all running rigging, danforth anchor, and rope ladder. This is a solid boat that is ready to be sailed. WWP-19Selling my 2002 WWP-19 that has been very lightly used and in great condition. 30 miles south of Dallas, TX. Fresh water only and with a bunch of extras such as jib roller furler, singlehanded set up, motor gas tank outside cockpit, depth finder, solar panel and floatation cockpit cushions. It has sail, jib and tiller covers. It has a specially designed hand cranking, singlehanded mast raising/lower system, which is a godsend. The motor has only a few hours on it and the galvanized trailer less than 500 miles. Everything is original and it has never been slept in or the head used. I've just started to post it and I'm looking for the best offer over $9,500.

SOLD 1994 Potter 15 for SaleI really tried hard to make this work out the way I had hoped and dreamed about. But, the truth is that "Tide and time waits for no man", and in my case I turned 81 on May 7, 2012. I hate to admit it, but the launching and reloading the Potter, by myself, is just more work and trouble than the enjoyment I get sailing by myself. Perhaps if I was able to sail with other Potters I would feel differently. However, that is not likely to happen in the Oklahoma City area in my lifetime. Anyway, I bought "Alf", a 1994 Potter in November, 2011 from a OKC area friend, and sailed it only one time on May 9, 2012. I converted it so it would accept the simple Sunfish lateen sail, as well as the sloop rigging. The sloop sails consist of a blue and white main and jib, as well a blue lapper. The sloop sails look like new, and appear little used. I also have a new blue SS Bimini that I ordered from Internatinal Marine that has never been installed. Itis still in it's shipping wrappings! I'm offering to sell the boat for $3,750 without motor. SOLD My Potter 19 in CAI LOVE MY WEST WIGHT POTTER 19!! BUT... my kids want to waterski, so what can I do? It is a gorgeous blue hulled vessel that, of course, comes with a Pacific galvanized trailer, like new cushions and rigging. All the usual suspects, big jib, storm jib, main all white and spotless. It's got a ridiculous 9.9 Force outboard that started like a top every time last summer. Brand new tiller, jib sheets, mooring lines. It will need a new battery box and I did remove the letter "S" from the name on the starboard side. I never put in the porta potty because we sailed it on tiny Lake Arrowhead. It's so fun, I am jealous of the amazing summer you're going to have. A STEAL at $7200! But enough of my yacking!

1996 Potter 15 for Sale - $4,800FOR SALE 1996 Potter 15 Here is One of the Nicest West Wight Potters you will ever find for Her age. She is a 1996 15 footer with custom Odyssey Sails, a very Nice Honda 2Hp Outboard Motor and a new Minn-Kota 40 sitting on a 1995 Garges Galvanized Trailer with new rear lights. There is a mast support at the Stern that slips into the gudgeon Holes to hold it up. The boom and whisker pole can be put into the boat for storage. I have set this boat up for OFF SHORE USE. She has all the required Lighting, new wind vane, Running light, Anchor light, Steaming light ,Cabin light, bilge pump, Voltmeter, back lit Lighted compass, Tiller Tamer, Master Cut-Off Switch all mounted on a nicely varnished board. The cushions are very nice heavy woven fabric, with about 4 inches of foam for support. She has a Fire Extinguisher, Flare Pistol, Hand held Flares and Smoke Flares, Signal Flag. Day Shapes for Steaming and for day anchoring, too. There are 2 type 2 Life jackets so you would need to get the right ones for off shore use. I have no Throwable cushions. She has a traveler, Boom vang,Topping lift, and all halliards at the Mast. There is also a new Battery emergency navigation lights and some spare parts as well. The bright work is nice and I dont think you will find but a couple of nicks overall. It shows like a 2 year old boat and is just as good or better. FOR SALE 1995 P19Basic boat. Please email for pics. bought boat in 2006 & only sailed it 3 times right after I got it. MUST SELL Been in drive way ever since. Sails are like new . Boat has a trailer. Hi, I would be interested in trading my 2007 Jayco 218 Feathersport travel trailer for a late model, blue water lay up 19. Trailer is in excellent condition and would need a boat the same. SOLD 1994 West Wight Potter 19
1994 West Wight Potter 19' sailboat for sale. It has a 2002 5hp nissan outboard with a freshly rebuilt carb. The mast is the new style. Trailer is in good shape with an extending tongue, new tires and bearing buddies. The main sheet, main halyard, mast lift and the furling line are all new from IM. It has a new tiller from IM. It has jib and main in decent shape. It comes with a lapper but it is ripped and is not useable. Cushions are good. has cockpit cushions It will need a mast foot ($55 from IM) The gelcoat is a little oxidized, but I've been slowly polishing it out. It looks like it had a repair around the centerboard on the hull. I had it out about 6 times this summer and never had a drop of water in the boat. The rudder needs relacquered. Asking 4000 but price is negotiable, make me an offer. I'm in Florence, SC.

for sale otter P-19 1995 basic model forsale in Charleston SC. Only been sailed 10 times . Motor serviced but hardly used. Been in dry storagre approx 6 years. Health reasons eliminated my sailing. Paid $ 8500 in 2006. I only put in water twice.

Here is One of the Nicest West Wight Potters you will ever find for Her age. She is a 1996 15 footer with custom Odyssey Sails, a very Nice Honda 2Hp Outboard Motor sitting on a 1995 Garges Galvanized Trailer with 3 New Tires READY to roll. There is a mast support at the Stern that slips into the gudgeon Holes to hold it up. The boom and whisker pole can be put into the boat for storage. I have set this boat up for OFF SHORE USE. She has all the required Lighting, Running light ,Anchor light, Steaming light ,Cabin light,Voltmeter, back lit Lighted compass, Master Cut-Off Switch all mounted on a nicely varnished board. The cushions are very nice heavy woven fabric, with about 4 inches of foam for support. She has a Fire Extinguisher, Flare Pistol, Hand held Flares and Smoke Flares, Signal Flag. Day Shapes for Steaming and for day anchoring, too. There are 2 type 2 Life jackets so you would need to get the right ones for off shore use. I have no Throwable cushions. They went with the other boat. I think sombody would like to color match all these items. Back to the Boat, She has a traveler, Boom vang,Topping lift, and all halliards at the Mast. There is also a new Battery emergency navigation lights and some spare parts as well. The bright work is nice and I dont think you will find but a couple of nicks overall. It shows like a 2 year old boat and is just as good or better. The trailer also has Buddy Bearings and is in good shape with minor rust on the support angle brackets. No big deal. I am sure you have priced a new one and looked at others, but this ones hard to be beat. She has been in Storage since 1998,Just brought out this season an given a bath and made Sea Ready.
