Estuary Park Ramp, Oakland. (For Daysailors) Coming from the south on 880N: Take the 5th Av exit. Take a L onto 5th and go under the hiway. Take the first L onto the frontage road. go 1/4 mile and cross the bridge. Take an immediate L into the parking lot. Coming from the north on 880S: Take the 16th Av exit. Take the first L onto 5th Av. Go 1/2 miles and cross bridge. Take an immediate L into the parking lot. Grand Street Ramp, Alameda (for Weekenders): Coming from the south on 880N:Take the Alameda/23rd Av exit. Make a u-turn at the first light, and take the overpass over 880N. Cross the Park Street Bridge. Turn R at the second light onto Clemente St.. Go to the end and turn R on Grand . The launch ramp is straight ahead. Coming from the north on 880S :,Take the Alameda/23rd AV exit. Merge onto Kennedy St. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto 23rd St. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto 29th Av 29th Av. becomes Park St. Cross the Park Street Bridge. Turn R at the second light onto Clemente St.. Go to the end and turn R on Grand . The launch ramp is straight ahead. Marina Village Yacht Harbor, Guest Dock. ("M" on the enlargement of the chart)The entrance to the Marina is between Piers B and P, (right under the words "Brooklyn Basin", where the number "33" appears, on the map above. The entrance is indicated by an arrow on the enlargement, and on this version of the guest dock map). Useful Landmarks: Immediatedly west of the marina are docked houseboats. The round building on the shore is the Meridian Restaurant (formerly the Tied House). |
