David Reiss' Potter 19 Avid Sailer

International Marine did a great job on the boat and my long list of extras.

Delivered New from Factory in April 1997, hull #941. Last boat to be packaged by Tricia. Custom marine head installation, holding tank w/ pumpout, twin batteries with 10 amp charger & engine charging. Honda 8 HP 4 Stroke
Standard 45 series wind, knot, & depth meters..Sunnto Compass. VHF, roller furling, opening ports, cooler compartment.
Interior bulkeads w/ barometer & tideclock. Custom cockpit rail cushions w/ Sunbrella covers. Cabin fan, voltmeter, etc.
Most options except bimini, genoa, winches, and track.
Custom: Engine backing plate in & outside hull. Cabin & cockpit lighting. CD/radio w/ speakers. Graphics

Q:The opening ports...any leaks?

A: Not a drop! They seal very well, come w/ screen built in...great ventilation!

Q: Is a colored hull affected more by abrasions from beaching...assuming that you beach your boat?

A: If I had to order the boat again I'd get a darker blue. The lighter colored hull shows dirt and scratches. The factory bottom paint held up well after a season of beaching. (However I keep it in the fresh water of the Potamac most of the year.)

Q: Nice boat!

A: Gracias! It's amazing what IM will do for you if you ask! I was nervous ordering it sight unseen but have been delighted with it.

Cheers all!
