Frozen Broccoli This idea came to to us from Paul Foster of the good ship Kermit. During cocktail hour at Lake Sonoma, while we were all trying to decide what to have for dinner, Paul mentioned that he had some broccoli thawing. I donít know if it was the rum or the wine but we all found this to be funny until he explained that it served double duty. The first being as a side course to dinner, and the second as coolant for his cooler. It didnít take long for the rest of us to see the wisdom in his reasoning. I plan on bringing an icechest along on more trips now that I can bring a smaller one. Heck, if you can eat the coolant, that's less space wasted.
